Dictatorship
Dictatorship means a country that is governed by a dictator. In the book Animal Farm, dictatorship occurred in a lot of places by different characters. Napoleon became more and more of a dictator as time passed by, instead of trying to run the farm, he wanted to have all the power and ended up running the farm all by himself. Napoleon took advantage of all the animals in the farm. He took the milk of the cow, and fed it to the pigs, also he abducted 9 of the puppies, to train them into guard dogs for the farm. The reason why he abducted the puppies were to protect himself so no one can rule over him and also he can use the dogs to intimidate all the other animals. At the end, Napoleon ended becoming more harsh than Mr Jones to the other animals, it says on the seven commandments that "all animals are equal" but in the end, Napoleon changed it into "all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others".
In the revolution, Joseph Stalin was labeled as the party's general secretary because of his connections with Lenin. At that time he had enough power to keep himself stable, but it did not stop there. Stalin wanted more power, and Lenin realised so he warned the others about it, but due to his illness, he passed away very soon. So Stalin finally got what he wanted and became the Supreme Dicator of Russia. Once Stalin got into his place, everything started to change, he took all the farmer's land and put it in the hand of the government, as the farmers got mad at Stalin, he either killed them or made them lost their job. As you can see the connection between the two characters, Stalin and Napoleon, they all started off with enough power but were greedy and wanted more and ore.
