George Orwell
Eric Arthur Blair, better known as the writer George Orwell was born on the 25th of June, 1903 in Bengal, British India. Passed away on the 21st of January, 1950 at the age of 46. He was well known for his allegorical political novels and of course, Animal Farm. Orwell's father brought him to England when he was one, and have not seen him until 1907, and that was when his father came back to English to visit him for three years before leaving again on 1912.
Orwell was a smart boy and he went to a small Anglican Parish school in Henley, St. Cyprian's School. Since he was such a hardworking student, he managed to impress his teachers and got awarded a scholarship in school. After, Orwell moved to Wellington, Eton, and became a scholar student at Kings. Since his family couldn't afford to send him to college, Orwell joined the Indian Imperial Police, Berma in 1922 and resigned, then went back to England after 6 years hating imperialism. Orwell might be a smart man, but he lived a several years in poverty, and for awhile even homeless, until he found a job as a school teacher. He was a school teacher for awhile but illness has been working through his body and soon he was not able to teacher anymore.
